Welcome to the art of Tom Sullivan , aka Sulbone. Each piece is a unique juxtaposition between the old and new, with ink wash paintings on vintage paper, some over 100 years old. He continues to be drawn to several themes, which can be seen below and in the gallery.
Sulbone's original art and prints (fine art paper GICLEE) through the Shop. If you see a piece in the Gallery or on social media that you're interested in, please contact us.
Love the style? Want something that's already sold? Want an original you help design? Email us what you're looking for and we'll begin the process of creating your one-of-a-kind unique piece of art, together with your input.
If you're in Lincoln, stop by Metro Gallery (1316 N Street) or Salon Voe (1600 Normandy Court) to see some of Tom's art in person.
Here's a stop-motion video of my process. I'm painting a picture of Jesus on Bible pages from 1865. The video starts once I've got the picture inked (I put down pure black first). I hope you like it. This image is available in prints in the shop.
